We understand that plans change. This policy explains the charges that apply if you cancel a confirmed booking. Where a supplier's own terms are stricter (for example non-refundable hotel rates, peak-season stays, cruises or special events), those terms will apply and will be shared with you at the time of booking.
1. How to cancel
Cancellations must be sent in writing by email to your travel expert. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written request.
2. Standard cancellation charges
Domestic packages
- 30 days or more before departure: 10% of the package cost
- 29 to 15 days before departure: 25% of the package cost
- 14 to 7 days before departure: 50% of the package cost
- Less than 7 days before departure, or no-show: 100% of the package cost
International packages
- 45 days or more before departure: 15% of the package cost
- 44 to 30 days before departure: 30% of the package cost
- 29 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the package cost
- Less than 15 days before departure, or no-show: 100% of the package cost
3. Flights, visas and insurance
- Airline tickets follow the fare rules of the airline. Many promotional fares are non-refundable.
- Visa fees, service charges and insurance premiums are non-refundable once processed.
4. Unused services
No refund is possible for services not used during the trip, such as missed sightseeing, meals or nights shortened by late arrival or early departure.
5. Cancellations by Tripyarri
If we have to cancel a trip for reasons within our control, we will offer an alternative of similar value or a full refund of the amount paid to us. If a cancellation is caused by events beyond our control, we will refund whatever our suppliers return to us, less any non-recoverable costs.
6. Refunds
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 15 to 30 working days of the cancellation, after deducting the applicable charges. Bank or payment-gateway charges, where applicable, are borne by the traveller.
