Overview
Life on board
MSC Cruises is part of the Swiss-headquartered MSC Group and brings a relaxed European elegance to the sea. Its newest ships, such as MSC World Europa, are among the most modern afloat, with wide promenades, glass-walled lounges and a huge choice of restaurants, bars and shows. For a more exclusive experience, the MSC Yacht Club is a private ship-within-a-ship with its own suites, lounge, restaurant and butler service.
For Indian travellers, the Arabian Gulf season is the easiest introduction: a week-long round trip from Dubai visiting Abu Dhabi, the beach island of Sir Bani Yas and Doha, with short flights from most Indian cities. In summer, seven-night Mediterranean cruises link cities such as Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa and Naples — a wonderful way to see several European cities while unpacking only once.
Tripyarri compares ships, cabin experiences and dates, and arranges flights, pre- or post-cruise hotels and visas.

Questions, answered
Do I need a visa for the MSC Arabian Gulf cruise?
Indian passport holders need a UAE visa to join the cruise in Dubai. Entry rules for the other ports (such as Qatar) depend on your nationality and change from time to time — we confirm the requirements for your sailing and help you apply.
What is the MSC Yacht Club?
It is MSC’s premium area on selected ships — suites in a private enclave with its own lounge, restaurant, pool deck and 24-hour butler service, while you can still enjoy the rest of the ship.
When is the best time for a Mediterranean cruise?
May to October offers warm weather and the widest choice of sailings. July and August are the busiest; May, June and September are a little calmer and often better value.
