About Bali

Why we love Bali

Emerald rice terraces, jungle villas with private pools and temples wreathed in incense — Bali is gentle, spiritual and made for slow days.

Best time to visit
April to October is the dry season, ideal for sightseeing and beaches. November to March brings short tropical showers, greener landscapes and quieter roads.

Bali is often called the Island of the Gods, and it is easy to see why. Offerings of flowers and incense appear on every doorstep each morning, temple ceremonies spill into the streets, and the island’s green heart is a patchwork of rice terraces carved into the hills over centuries.

Ubud, in the highlands, is the island’s cultural soul — a place for yoga at sunrise, walks along the Campuhan ridge, art markets and dinners in the jungle. On the coast, Seminyak and Uluwatu bring beach clubs, surf breaks and clifftop temples where the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.

We pair the two: a few nights in a villa among the paddies, then the sea. With private drivers who double as guides, Bali becomes an easy, unhurried island to explore.

Questions about Bali

Anything else on your mind? Ask us on WhatsApp — a real person replies.

Do Indians get a visa on arrival in Bali?

Indian passport holders can obtain an e-Visa on Arrival for Indonesia for tourism, either online before travel or at the airport. Bali also charges a small tourist levy. We guide you through both.

Ubud or Seminyak — where should we stay?

Ubud is for culture, rice terraces and jungle villas; Seminyak is for beaches, dining and sunsets. On a 5–7 night trip we usually recommend splitting your stay between the two.

Is Bali good for a honeymoon?

Bali is one of our most-loved honeymoon destinations — private pool villas, floating breakfasts, candle-lit beach dinners and spa rituals for two, at prices that often compare well with other island destinations.
