About Thailand

Why we love Thailand

Turquoise bays framed by karst cliffs, glittering Bangkok temples and street food worth the flight alone — Thailand is effortless, warm and endlessly varied.

Best time to visit
November to April for the Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi); Bangkok is year-round, with the most comfortable weather from November to February.

Few countries reward the traveller as generously as Thailand. In the Andaman Sea, sheer limestone islands rise out of water so clear the longtail boats seem to float on air, and the beaches of Krabi and the Phi Phi Islands are as beautiful at dawn as any postcard suggests.

Bangkok is the counterpoint: a city of gilded spires and riverside temples, of rooftop bars and night markets, where a bowl of boat noodles from a street stall can be as memorable as dinner in a celebrated restaurant. Further north, Chiang Mai offers mountain temples, cooking schools and a slower rhythm.

We plan Thailand around good hotels in the right places, private transfers instead of crowded shuttles, and island days timed to avoid the busiest boats — so you see the famous bays at their quietest.

Questions about Thailand

Anything else on your mind? Ask us on WhatsApp — a real person replies.

Do Indian passport holders need a visa for Thailand?

Thailand has offered visa-free entry to Indian passport holders for short tourist stays in recent years, but the rules are revised from time to time. We confirm the current requirement when you book and help with any paperwork needed.

Which is better for a first visit — Phuket or Krabi?

Phuket has more choice of hotels, dining and nightlife; Krabi is quieter and more scenic, with dramatic limestone cliffs. Many of our travellers split their stay between the two, using the Phi Phi Islands as a day trip in between.

Is Thailand good for vegetarian travellers?

Very much so. Most restaurants can prepare vegetarian and Jain-friendly dishes, and Indian restaurants are easy to find in Bangkok, Phuket and Krabi. We share recommendations with your itinerary.
