About this journey

Dubai is one of the easiest international holidays for families: a short flight from India, superb hotels and an endless supply of things to do. This itinerary balances the city’s icons with time to rest, scheduling sightseeing in the cooler mornings and evenings.

You will watch the city from the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa, ride across the creek on a wooden abra, spend an evening in the desert with dune drives and a barbecue dinner, and cruise the marina by dhow. There is a free day for a theme park or the beach.

Your driver meets you at Dubai International Airport for the private transfer to your hotel in Business Bay. In the evening, stroll to the Dubai Fountain to watch the water dance beneath the Burj Khalifa.

Day 2Old Dubai & Burj Khalifa
A morning tour of old Dubai: the lanes of Al Fahidi, an abra ride across the creek and the spice and gold souks. Return to rest before heading to the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa in the late afternoon to watch the city turn gold, then blue.

Day 3Desert safari
A free morning by the pool. In the afternoon, a 4×4 takes you into the red dunes for a thrilling drive, sand-boarding and camel rides. As the sun sets, settle into a Bedouin-style camp for a barbecue dinner with live entertainment.

Day 4Free day & marina dhow cruise
Spend the day as you like — a theme park, Atlantis Aquaventure, the Dubai Aquarium or the beach at Jumeirah. In the evening, board a traditional dhow for a dinner cruise past the illuminated towers of Dubai Marina.

Is this itinerary suitable for young children and grandparents?

Yes. Sightseeing is limited to half days, the hotel is central, and the desert safari can be booked without the dune drive for anyone who prefers a gentler ride.

Are flights included in this package?

Flights are not included, so you can choose the airline and timings that suit you. We are happy to add flights from your city to your quotation.
