Overview
Life on board
Cordelia Cruises is India’s own premium ocean cruise line, built around the way Indian families and friends love to holiday. Its ship, the Cordelia Empress, sails from Indian ports — so there are no long-haul flights, no foreign-exchange worries and no visa for domestic sailings. You simply check in at the cruise terminal, drop your bags and the holiday begins.
On board you will find generous buffets and à la carte dining with plenty of vegetarian and Jain choices, live shows and music every evening, a pool deck, a fitness centre, spa, kids’ activities and a lively nightlife. Short weekend sailings on the high seas are perfect for a first cruise, while longer itineraries call at Goa, the coral islands of Lakshadweep and Sri Lanka.
Tripyarri helps you choose the right sailing and cabin — interior, ocean view, balcony or suite — and can add hotel stays, transfers and flights to the port, so the whole trip is planned in one place.

Good to know
Questions, answered
Do I need a passport for a Cordelia cruise?
For sailings within India a valid government photo ID is generally enough (the cruise line lists the accepted documents on your booking). Sri Lanka sailings are international, so every guest needs a valid passport and the travel authorisation required at the time of travel — we will guide you on the latest rules.
Is food included in the cruise fare?
Yes — meals at the main restaurant and buffet are included, with plenty of vegetarian and Jain choices. Speciality dining, beverages and some snacks are charged extra.
Is a cruise a good idea for a family with children or elderly parents?
Very much so. You unpack once, everything is a short walk away and there are activities for every age. Tell us about your group and we will suggest the right itinerary and cabins — connecting or nearby cabins can often be arranged.
