About this journey
Two of Europe’s most romantic places, linked by a short flight. Spend four nights in a cave suite in Oia, with the Aegean below your terrace, then four nights on the shores of Lake Como, where villas and gardens tumble down to the water.

Itinerary
Day by day
Day 1Arrive in Santorini
Arrive in Santorini and transfer to your cave suite in Oia. Your first sunset over the caldera will be from your own terrace.
Day 2Oia & Fira
Walk the clifftop path from Fira to Oia, or explore the villages of Imerovigli and Pyrgos at your own pace.
Day 3Caldera cruise
A catamaran cruise around the caldera, with swimming at the hot springs and the red beach, and dinner on board at sunset.
Day 4Volcanic vineyards
A wine tasting at a family vineyard among Santorini’s unique basket-trained vines, with a free afternoon by your plunge pool.
Day 5Fly to Milan, drive to Lake Como
Fly to Milan and drive to Lake Como, arriving at your lakeside hotel in time for an aperitivo on the terrace.
Day 6Private boat on the lake
A private boat takes you to Villa del Balbianello and the village of Bellagio, the pearl of the lake.
Day 7Villas & gardens
Visit Villa Carlotta’s botanical gardens and the lakeside village of Varenna, with lunch by the water.
Day 8At leisure
A day for the spa, the floating pool or a funicular ride to Brunate for views over the lake.
Day 9Departure
Transfer to Milan Malpensa Airport for your flight home.
